This project is located in Brooklyn Park on the Mississippi River. It took 4 weeks to complete 150 LF of river bank repair which included restoring a 40' high bank by placing 3' high geotextile reinforced soil lifts at a 1:1 from water level up to the top of the river bank. Over 300 live stakes were planted to sprout sandbar willows and redosier dogwoods on the restored river bank. Along with the shrubs, vines and native wetland seed were planted, all to give the river bank a natural, undisturbed look.
